When preparing for your first RV trip there are so many things to remember to pack! Some things you may purchase to leave in your camper, but there are many items that you’re going to simply take from your house to use while on your trip. You definitely do NOT want to be like us and completely forget clothes for one of your kids for your first weekend in your new camper! Thankfully we were just moochdocking at my Dad’s and we most likely won’t do it again! It’s something we can laugh about now, but we’re hoping to keep you from making the same mistake. We’ve put together a packing list for your first RV trip, or for those who may be weekenders like we are, to make your trip go as smoothly as possible. Some things are absolutely necessary (ex. wheel chalks), while others may be more convenience items (ex. instant pot). Feel free to use your discretion when using our RV Newbie Packing list. It’s a guide, as everyone’s needs are different. We hope your first trip is one to remember! But, if everything doesn’t go as planned, it is a learning experience to better prepare you for your future adventures. So, get out and go make memories! Happy camping!
